Role Description

  • The Purchasing Logistics Specialist role is a full time, on site position based in Dubai.
  • This role is responsible for managing day to day purchasing activities, including creating and processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • The specialist monitors stock levels, supports inventory planning, and collaborates with warehouse and logistics teams to align purchasing with operational needs.
  • Daily tasks include tracking shipments, resolving delivery discrepancies, optimizing purchasing costs, and communicating with internal stakeholders to support smooth supply chain operations.
  • The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement in purchasing and logistics processes to maintain EuroCoffee UAE’s high standards of service and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including purchasing workflows and best practices.
  • Hands on experience creating, reviewing, and managing purchase orders.
  • Proficiency in purchase management, including vendor selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data entry, and inventory records.
  • Experience with ERP or procurement software and basic Excel or spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to work on site in Dubai and coordinate activities in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
  • Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or procurement; experience in FMCG or beverage industry is an advantage.
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
