Role overview
Microsoft is seeking a Solution Engineer focused on Cloud and AI Infrastructure and the Azure Platform.
The role supports public sector customers in Australia through technical sales, architecture, migration, modernization, and transformation advisory.
The position focuses on secure, scalable, resilient cloud architectures and measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own technical sales engagements using consultative selling, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and Microsoft programs.
- Build trusted advisor relationships and co-develop secure, resilient, production-scale architectures.
- Apply Cloud Adoption Framework practices and Microsoft offerings to accelerate customer success.
- Address competitive challenges, resolve escalations, and share product insights with partners and engineering teams.
- Maintain expertise in cloud migration, modernization, enterprise workloads, resiliency, security, and compliance.
- Stay current on market trends and emerging technologies and contribute to the infrastructure technical community.
Required qualifications
- At least 6 years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
