Role overview
The da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager builds and develops the clinical field sales team within an assigned region.
The role manages clinical utilization, installations, training, and utilization growth for the da Vinci Surgical System.
Sales and market development
- Develop and implement clinical sales activities to achieve and exceed goals.
- Expand clinical usage across existing accounts and sell and train new surgeons.
- Prospect for new system installations and upgrades to the existing customer base.
- Provide product information and implement strategies with training and marketing teams.
Team leadership
- Hire, train, and develop da Vinci Clinical Sales Representatives.
- Manage and direct clinical utilization within the assigned region.
- Lead new system installation processes and manage training and education within the installed base.
Required experience
- At least 10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in medical device sales.
- A proven track record of managing and developing a medical device sales force is required.
