Lead the cleaning team and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the facilities.
Oversee daily cleaning operations, motivate team members, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
The role is based at Cheshire Oaks and is worked in person.
Working schedule
- Monday through Saturday, 18:00 to 22:00 each day.
Core responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities to meet quality standards.
- Assign tasks to cleaning staff and monitor performance for efficiency and thoroughness.
- Inspect premises regularly and identify areas requiring attention or improvement.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Maintain cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and safety check records.
Team and customer service
- Communicate with team members, management, and clients about concerns and special requests.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Promote a positive work environment by recognising achievements and fostering teamwork.
- Address client needs professionally and promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning services or a supervisory role within facilities management is required.
- Strong English communication skills are required for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Candidates must be able to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of safety standards for cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety protocols is required.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for mobile cleaning operations or transporting supplies.
Pay
- Pay is £14.30 per hour.
