Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and washing windows.
- Clean and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms, including countertops, sinks, appliances, and fixtures.
- Make beds, change linens, and perform laundry and ironing as needed.
- Ensure that all rooms are well organized, with personal items stored properly.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety and hygiene standards while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist with special cleaning projects, such as deep cleaning or seasonal cleaning.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maid or Housekeeper in a similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
- 3+ years of experience in a home or cleaning company
