Purpose of the Role
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support diverse student needs and promote academic and personal development.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, respectful learning environment aligned with UK Teaching Standards, school values, Qatari culture, and Ministry of Education ethics.
Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders while contributing positively to the wider school community.
Teaching and Assessment
- Develop curriculum plans aligned with subject standards, learning objectives, assessment objectives, school values, and Qatari requirements.
- Create differentiated lessons using varied instructional strategies, resources, technology, and student-led learning opportunities.
- Assess and track student progress, adapt instruction, and provide clear, timely, and targeted feedback.
Classroom and Student Support
- Establish clear behaviour expectations and maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive classroom environment.
- Address individual student needs and support critical thinking, problem-solving, growth mindset, resilience, and personal development.
- Follow up on incidents and communicate relevant concerns to appropriate school stakeholders.
