Responsibilities
- Supervise all areas on small projects or a subset/discipline area on moderate sized projects
- Manage and execute a single field discipline or subset of assigned construction project(s) in accordance with contract and company policies
- Execute work in accordance with quality standards and project requirements
- Manage and control project cost and schedule of assigned discipline/subset of on site construction
- Manage installation, commissioning and completion activities for some materials and equipment
- Monitor work progress and report against the plan
- Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities are defined and communicated to workers
- Ensure workers receive appropriate training for safe, legal and competent work including HSE and site specific inductions
Requirements
- Minimum ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma/apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
- Minimum 5 years of post qualification field construction experience in a relevant industry
- Well organized, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Display good judgment and leadership qualities
- Ability to work with timelines/targets
- Ability to be assertive and drive culture change when required
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and team building skills

Objective

- Oversees all aspects of field construction of small projects or an area or discipline of larger projects including direction of construction specifications, budgets and schedules.
- Generally responsible for construction scope(s) with value up to $25M.

Qualifications
- Typically minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
- Appropriate level of field construction experience, typically gained through a minimum of 5 years of post qualification experience in a relevant industry
