Job Description
Supervise construction activities on site and ensure work follows approved engineering drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and the project schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and review engineering drawings and confirm execution details.
- Supervise daily site activities according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor concrete works, reinforcement steel, footings, foundations, and structural works.
- Calculate and review quantities, payment claims, and costs for completed works.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors and verify compliance with project requirements.
- Check material and workmanship quality against specifications and standards.
- Monitor project schedules, progress percentages, manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, consultant, and contractor teams to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and progress reports and escalate technical observations.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, engineering codes, standards, and project specifications.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- At least 3 years of practical construction and site engineering experience is required.
- Experience with construction and building projects is required.
- Strong knowledge of concrete, reinforcement steel, footings, foundations, and structural works is required.
- Ability to read engineering and shop drawings is required.
- Experience in quantity calculation, measurements, and quantity verification is required.
- AutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
- Knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards, and regulations is advantageous.
- English and Arabic language skills are preferred.
- A driving license is preferred.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 4,000 to AED 8,000 per month.
Workplace
- The role is performed in person on the construction site.
