About the Role

Responsibilities
- Ensure all construction works are performed in strict accordance with plans and specifications
- Report any failure of the Contractor to perform work as per drawings and specifications
- Maintain a detailed diary of day's work activities, issues, work approved or rejected
- Interface with public and stakeholders to mitigate construction impacts
- Coordinate with contractor's site engineers on proper execution of work
- Coordinate with other discipline inspectors for sampling and testing
- Coordinate with Surveyors to check line and grade of work
- Process Inspection Requests and maintain records of their status
- Maintain detailed records of work performed on a Day Works basis
- Participate in health and safety issues at site as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in road and infrastructure construction supervision, including stormwater projects
- Strong ability to interpret shop drawings, method statements and construction specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering/construction software
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Previous experience working on ADM/DMT projects is preferred
