Responsibilities
- Manage all civil, structural, and infrastructure inspections for the project.
- Implement quality management systems and site supervision activities.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections and prepare reports verifying compliance with regulations, standards, and the Dar QA Program.
- Ensure inspection checklists and inspection frequencies are reviewed and approved by the Project Manager or Resident Engineer.
- Develop inspection forward plans and programmes and issue completed checklists, reports, and recommendations for records and performance review.
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors implement safe working practices, permit-to-work requirements, and Dar standard operating procedures.
- Liaise with the Resident Engineer on quality management systems and site supervision activities.
- Raise non-conformance notices, site inspection notices, and reports and identify quality deficiencies.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a construction-related field is required.
- At least 8 years of experience in a construction-related field is required.
