Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure projects are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and contract documents
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Ensure quality control procedures are implemented throughout construction activities
- Coordinate with government authorities to obtain necessary approvals, inspections, and permits
- Evaluate contractor performance and verify completed work for payment certification
- Identify technical issues on site and provide practical engineering solutions
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
- Support procurement by reviewing technical submittals and material approvals
- Attend project meetings and communicate project updates to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in contracting, construction, or real estate projects
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, building codes, and municipality regulations
- Experience managing villas, residential, commercial, or mixed use developments preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software (MS Project or Primavera is an advantage)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Valid UAE driving license preferred
- Available for immediate joining or on short notice

Job Summary
- Our client, a well established group of companies specializing in contracting and real estate development, is seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join their team.
- The ideal candidate must be fluent in both Arabic and English and possess strong technical, project coordination, and site management skills.
- The successful candidate will oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with project specifications, and coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, government authorities, and internal stakeholders.
