Role
The position is for a Civil Engineer responsible for QA/QC and construction-site coordination in Mumbai.
Qualification and Experience
- A B.E. in Civil Engineering is required.
- Courses in Structural Engineering are preferred.
- At least 5–6 years of construction-site experience is required.
- Experience executing major projects covering approximately 25–50 acres is required.
- Candidates should understand civil, structural, and architectural design and construction aspects.
- AutoCAD, computerized reporting, and MS Office knowledge are required.
- Written and spoken knowledge of the local language is mandatory.
Job Description
- Plan and schedule project activities according to timelines.
- Ensure timely work execution on site.
- Liaise with architects, consultants, and contractors.
- Conduct project and design review meetings online or in the office when required.
- Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and circulate them.
- Maintain inventory, RIF, drawing, and non-compliance registers at the site.
- Identify delays and initiate corrective action.
- Invite local vendor quotations, compare them, and submit recommendations when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental policies.
- Prepare MIS reports to support decision-making.
