Civil Engineer Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and site inspections.
• Prepare and implement project plans.
• Research projects and prepare estimates.
• Review government regulations and ordinances.
• Monitor safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Recommend alternative solutions to technical problems.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and professional staff.
• Manage budgets, resources, deadlines, quotes, and other project activities.

Civil Engineer Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field, with stated accreditation by the Institution of Civil Engineers.
• Professional engineer registration or licensure may be required.
• At least four years of architectural design consultancy industry experience is strongly desired.
• At least three years of project management experience.
• Familiarity with ArchiCAD, BIMX, Civil 3D, Autodesk, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
• Knowledge of foundations, structural analysis, structural design, and civil engineering design.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage diverse professionals and coordinate multiple projects.
• Strong design, construction documentation, and project management skills.

Workplace

Compensation

• The stated salary is AED 3,000 to AED 3,500 per month.
