About the Job
Ddesigny.com and its affiliated design and architectural consultancy are seeking a civil engineering professional for work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role combines office work, site visits, council meetings, vendor coordination, and project delivery activities.
Civil Engineer Responsibilities
- Develop detailed designs and conduct feasibility assessments and site inspections.
- Prepare and implement project plans and provide project estimates.
- Review government regulations and ordinances.
- Monitor safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Recommend alternative solutions to engineering problems.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other project staff.
- Manage project budgets, resources, deadlines, quotes, and other project management activities.
Civil Engineer Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers.
- Professional engineer registration or licensure may be required.
- A minimum of 4 years of architectural design consultancy experience is strongly desired.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
