About the Job

  • We are seeking an experienced Cinema Manager to lead the operations of one of our premium cinema destinations.
  • This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving operational excellence, and leading high performing teams in a dynamic entertainment environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the day to day operation of the cinema, ensuring exceptional guest service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Create a positive, engaging, and guest focused culture that enhances the overall customer experience.
  • Drive commercial performance by monitoring operational effectiveness and supporting revenue growth initiatives.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve business objectives and maintain high performance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and company operational standards.
  • Oversee operational processes across guest services, food and beverage outlets, and cinema facilities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business success.
  • Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and events that increase guest engagement and attendance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork.

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Leisure Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5–7 years of operational management experience within cinemas, entertainment, leisure, hospitality, or customer focused environments.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in a fast paced operation.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience and service excellence principles.
  • Demonstrated financial and commercial awareness with experience managing operational performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, and organisational capabilities.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Desired

  • Previous experience within the cinema industry.
  • Experience managing multi site or large scale entertainment operations.
  • Familiarity with cinema ticketing and operational systems such as Vista.
  • Experience leading change initiatives and operational improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience supporting marketing, events, and promotional activities.
