The Christmas Van Driver provides support to the Community and Family Services during the Christmas season on a temporary basis. The Driver will pick up donated toys from various locations within the HRM and to assist in the organizing and packing of these toys in a warehouse setting.

Pick up and delivery of donations on a daily basis
Oversee the maintenance and safety of the vehicle
This is a temporary full time position ending December 31, 2026

E ducation, Experience and Qualifications:
Candidates must meet all requirements to be covered under the company's vehicle insurance policy and maintain eligibility throughout their employment.
Must provide a current Driver’s Abstract
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Must have a grade 12 certificate
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently
Ability to contribute as a team player, projecting a positive, professional and helpful attitude
Ability to model the values and standards of the Salvation Army
Ability and willingness to undergo applicable screening and background checks successfully that are satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion.
