Strategy

  • Develop and implement information security strategies and operating models aligned with laws, regulations, and Authority needs.
  • Define risk registers, scenarios, response plans, accountable owners, and escalation paths.
  • Set Authority-wide security programs and technical standards across sectors.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and threat trends and issue strategic recommendations.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity strategies and work plans with departments.

Operations

  • Lead analysis of security incidents and direct incident-response activities.
  • Plan and coordinate Security Operations Centre operations and response workflows.
  • Advise team leads on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing plans, tools, and frameworks.
  • Oversee readiness evaluations and penetration tests and track corrective actions.
  • Review architectures and prescribe security controls for new initiatives and system changes.
  • Govern access and privileges, monitor activity, and report compliance.
  • Execute risk-based audits of technical systems and projects.
  • Assess new technology projects against cybersecurity strategy and risk profile.
  • Manage security assessments of external suppliers and partners.
  • Perform additional information security duties assigned by leadership.

Product and Process Improvement

  • Maintain risk registers and mitigation plans and report system effectiveness and residual risks.
  • Update cybersecurity policies, procedures, contingency plans, and related documentation.
  • Prepare and refine emergency, incident response, and recovery plans through exercises and lessons learned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information technology.
  • At least nine years of experience with a master’s degree or at least eleven years with a bachelor’s degree.

Professional Certifications

  • Relevant certifications may include CISSP, CISM, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.
