Senior Accountant - Nol Financial Operations & Compliance Section

Job Purpose

Budgeting and Financial Analysis

• Support preparation of project and development initiative budgets.
• Monitor budget utilization and cash flow against approved plans and highlight variances.
• Analyze financial results related to Nol initiatives and development projects for management review.

Compliance, Risk, and Audit

• Apply approved financial procedures, compliance policies, local legislation, and adopted standards.
• Monitor compliance issues and financial risks and escalate observations through periodic reporting.
• Prepare records and reports for internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions.

Process Improvement and Reporting

• Improve financial operations, settlement controls, reporting, reconciliation, and control practices.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses for operational monitoring and decision-making.
• Review processes and recommend enhancements that improve transparency and audit readiness.

IT Operations and Vendor Support

• Support IT managed services vendors and help ensure contractual service levels are met.
• Conduct infrastructure process health checks, support audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor infrastructure KPIs and SLAs and facilitate service improvement plans and reviews.
• Maintain software systems, network connections, servers, storage environments, IT assets, and licenses.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, policies, procedures, and IT service management documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting.
• Zero to two years of related experience are specified for bachelor's degree holders.
• Five or more years of related experience are specified for diploma holders.
