Job Description

  • Contribute to the development and management of organizational HR policies and frameworks embedding legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarize with pioneering practices in HR management and propose legal expertise in HR initiatives.
  • Review DGHR and Dubai draft and approved laws continuously to update HR policies and procedures accordingly.

Operations

  • Follow up on implementation of DGEP criteria related to human capital and Emiratization, ensuring compliance.
  • Review and respond to employee grievance cases to ensure resolutions align with Dubai Government Human Resources Law.
  • Provide legal guidance to HR Business Partners and leadership on appropriate corrective actions.
  • Oversee development and administration of HR policies, processes, procedures, and forms.
  • Respond to legal inquiries from organizational units and staff.
  • Coordinate with Internal Audit and Quality Audit functions.
  • Represent employees and organisation in legal cases pending in court.

Product / Process Improvement

  • Improve HR Development Department services by embedding legal governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Audit departmental outputs, recommend enhancements, and ensure legal robustness.
  • Establish and oversee an internal quality audit framework for HR processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Law
  • 9+ Years in case of Master’s degree (11+ years in case of Bachelor’s degree) in related area
  • Expertise in legal advisory, representation, and legislative compliance
  • Experience in investigation, inquiry procedures, and grievance management
  • Ability to support employee happiness and organizational health initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and governance frameworks
  • Competence in ESG governance and reporting practices
  • Skilled in policy analysis, development, and implementation
  • Experience in exit interview analysis and employee retention initiatives
  • Ability to conduct market research and benchmarking
  • Proficiency in managing employee events and rewards programs
  • Understanding of the organization’s business context and operational environment
