Responsibilities
- Monitor ERM performance and update departmental risk plan to meet risk index targets
- Develop and implement advanced risk management methodologies using market research and best practices
- Review and revise strategies through benchmarking and case studies
- Leverage digitization and AI to support public bus operations strategy
- Ensure compliance with operational laws, regulations, and institutional standards
- Apply green economy governance and monitor environmental sustainability initiatives
- Coordinate internal and external audits and oversee corrective actions
- Ensure implementation of safety and environmental management system (RSEMS)
- Conduct electronic audits based on asset management and ISO standards
- Monitor and manage large databases for data analysis and strategic insights
- Analyze bus service delivery processes and develop efficiency improvements
- Conduct routine field visits to buses and facilities to ensure service quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Risk Management
- Master's degree preferred
- 9+ years of experience with Master's degree (11+ years with Bachelor's degree)

Job Purpose
- Lead strategic risk management, operational governance, sustainability oversight, data driven analysis, and compliance monitoring to strengthen public bus operations and enhance service excellence.
Roles & Accountabilities
- Monitor ERM performance, analyze results, and update the departmental risk plan to meet risk index targets.
- Develop and implement advanced risk management methodologies using market research and international best practices.
- Review existing strategies, revise them as needed, and develop new strategies through benchmarking and case studies.
- Leverage digitization and artificial intelligence concepts to support and advance the public bus operations strategy.
- Ensure all departmental activities comply with operational laws, regulations, and approved institutional standards.
- Apply green economy governance by monitoring environmental sustainability initiatives and ensuring alignment with green economy strategies and RTA standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, oversee audit report preparation, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure implementation of the safety and environmental management system (RSEMS) and verify compliance with safety and sustainability goals.
- Conduct electronic audits (e audit) based on asset management and ISO standards to drive compliance and operational efficiency.
- Follow up on recommendations issued by the Public Transport Safety Committee and public health authorities.
- Monitor and manage large databases to conduct data analysis and generate strategic insights for improving operational decisions.
- Periodically analyze bus service delivery processes and develop procedures to improve efficiency and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Risk Management.
- 9+ years in case of Master's degree (11+ years in case of Bachelor's degree).

- Occasional on site field visits to buses, facilities, and operational areas as part of compliance and service quality verification.
