Role Overview
The Chief Inspector reports to the Accountable Executive and operates independently of the Director of Maintenance.
This is a required management position under GACAR Part 121.45.
Responsibilities
- Administer the required inspection programme and maintain the Required Inspection Items list.
- Set inspection standards and oversee the inspector cadre and maintenance quality assurance.
- Ensure inspection independence and integrity of airworthiness determinations.
- Audit maintenance activities and records and drive corrective action.
- Interface with GACA on inspection and quality matters.
Requirements
- The successful candidate must be acceptable to GACA based on experience, competence, and knowledge.
- The candidate must have a full understanding of GACAR, operations specifications, applicable airworthiness requirements, and the operations manual.
- The role is associated with GACAR 121.45(e) and (g).

- The post is full-time.
