Job Overview

  • Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a Chief Executive Officer for their client in Dubai, UAE which is a multispecialty hospital currently in a growth and scale up phase following a greenfield setup.
  • We are looking for seasoned healthcare leaders with a proven track record of successfully building, stabilizing, and transforming a greenfield hospital into a profitable and sustainable operation within Dubai or the UAE.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 20 years of healthcare experience, including at least 5 to 8 years in a CEO or equivalent executive leadership role within a hospital environment
  • Demonstrated success in revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational turnaround in competitive markets
  • Dubai experience is strongly preferred; however, candidates with relevant UAE experience in similar roles will also be considered

Key Responsibilities

  • Full Profit & Loss (P&L) ownership, driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and long term sustainability of the hospital
  • Lead strategic planning and execution to transition the hospital from a greenfield setup to a high performing, revenue generating healthcare institution
  • Develop and implement growth strategies including service line expansion, physician alignment, referral network development, and payer mix optimization
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, investors, regulators, and community partners
  • Oversee all hospital operations including clinical services, administration, finance, human resources, and support services
  • Lead physician engagement strategies including recruitment, retention, performance optimization, and development of high performing medical teams
  • Drive patient experience initiatives, brand positioning, and reputation management
  • Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical governance frameworks
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, capital investments, and cost management strategies
  • Build and lead a high performance leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence
  • Participate in board level reporting, strategic decision making, and governance processes
  • Maintain strong oversight of infrastructure, expansion projects, and operational readiness
