The Chief Engineer serves as the senior technical authority responsible for engineering governance, technical excellence, risk management, staff leadership, and support of project delivery, pursuits, and innovation initiatives across civil infrastructure and bridge construction projects.
Provide technical leadership and serve as the Engineer of Record for Temporary Works.
Establish engineering standards, procedures, design guidelines, and quality assurance processes.
Lead technical reviews and risk assessments for critical construction operations.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and PEO obligations.
Direct design and review of formwork, falsework, temporary bridges, work platforms, excavation support systems, lifting and jacking systems, foundations, and fall protection systems.
Review and approve calculations, models, drawings, and construction methodologies.
