- Lead, train, and supervise the drilling crew to ensure all tasks are performed efficiently, safely,
- and according to established procedures.
- Oversee the entire drilling process, from site preparation to well completion, including shallow
- and deep wells, to meet project goals and timelines.
- Act as a safety leader, ensuring the crew follows all safety protocols and maintaining a high
- standard of safety at the rig site.
- Ensure the proper functioning of all drilling equipment, including maintenance, repair, and
- troubleshooting.
- Monitor drilling parameters, manage well control, and oversee the installation of casing and
- other components.
- Coordinate material procurement and mobilization to the site, and manage the logistics of the
- project to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain detailed records of drilling conditions, parameters, and progress.
- Required skills and qualifications
- Diploma with minimum 10 years of experience.
- Extensive experience in drilling operations, with knowledge of various drilling rigs and
- techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a crew and interact with other
- stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of drilling equipment and its maintenance.
- Ability to operate under physically demanding conditions and in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency in safety procedures and regulations.
