Responsibilities
- File all General Ledger Reports
- Ensure all house banks are counted on a monthly basis and counts submitted to the Financial Controller
- Ensure all money and checks are deposited intact with the bank by the general cashier and hotel security
- Check and process the monthly authorized payroll and rank and file payroll
- Prepare and calculate final pay
- Analyze payroll reports and report discrepancies
- Prepare and submit all required payroll journals for month end
- Verify bank deposit slips against total deposits and check foreign currency receipts
- Reconcile and control the operation of the hotel's bank accounts
- Handle daily accounts receivable tasks and follow up on payments
- Prepare and review daily, monthly journal vouchers along with closing reports
- Check all P&L accounts and ensure analysis of all balance sheet accounts monthly
Requirements
- Experience in accounting, preferably in hospitality
- Knowledge of general ledger, payroll, and accounts receivable processes
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours when necessary

Miscellaneous
- Works closely and proactively with all Departments.
- Ensures familiarity with in house facilities to assist guests and promote sales.
- Informs and updates the Financial Controller on problems and unusual matters.
- Attends meetings and training required by the Financial Controller.
- Assists colleagues when needed.
- Ensures guest satisfaction by attending to requests and inquiries courteously and promptly.
- Accepts flexible working schedule when necessary for the hotel's uninterrupted service.
- Stays abreast of current and new industry technology relating to function.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with employees and colleagues.
