Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely closing of accounts and month end/year end processes.
  • Monitor general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and intercompany transactions.
  • Review journal entries, payment vouchers, and accounting records.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Assist management in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity requirements.

Accounts Receivable & Payable Management

  • Supervise accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
  • Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms.
  • Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Review aging reports and implement collection strategies.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare and submit required tax filings and financial reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, and other applicable regulations.

Payroll & Employee Benefits

  • Review payroll calculations and ensure timely salary processing.
  • Verify employee benefits, leave settlements, gratuity calculations, and final settlements.
  • Coordinate with HR regarding payroll related matters.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls.
  • Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and guide accounting staff.
  • Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
  • Provide training and support to finance team members.
  • Promote continuous improvement in accounting processes.

Management Reporting

  • Prepare financial reports, management reports.
  • Present financial information and recommendations to management.
  • Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
  • Provide profitability analysis by project, department, or business unit.
