About the Role
Advanced Construction Technology Services seeks a Chemist to conduct chemical analysis of construction materials following ASTM, BS, AASHTO standards. The role involves sample preparation, testing, equipment maintenance, and report preparation.

Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical analysis of construction materials following ASTM, BS, AASHTO, and other applicable standards
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions required for routine and advanced laboratory tests
- Perform tests such as pH, chloride content, sulfate content, organic impurities, moisture content, alkali silica reactivity, chemical composition, and other required parameters
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as titration systems, spectrophotometers, ovens, balances, and other analytical instruments
- Ensure proper calibration and verification of laboratory instruments
- Record test observations, calculate results, and prepare technical test reports with accuracy and clarity
- Follow laboratory quality procedures under ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while adhering to all safety guidelines
- Assist in method validation, proficiency tests, and continuous improvement of lab processes
- Coordinate with other lab staff, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of results
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a material testing or analytical laboratory (preferred)
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures
- Familiarity with ASTM, BS, and AASHTO testing standards
- Available in Qatar and immediate joiner

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
