About the Job

  • As a Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer for the EPC business division, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in energy, petrochemicals, and related sectors.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling to EPC companies, managing the bidding and tendering process, and fostering strong relationships to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify, evaluate, and secure opportunities with EPC companies in energy, petrochemicals, and related sectors to drive revenue growth.
  • Tender & RFQ Management: Oversee the end to end tendering process, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely submission of required documentation.
  • Sourcing & Procurement: Identify suitable partners/suppliers and manage sourcing and procurement activities as required by EPC project specifications.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners.
  • Negotiation & Contracts: Lead negotiations on pricing, supply agreements, credit terms, and NDAs to optimize business outcomes.
  • Technical Support: Analyze customer requirements and provide tailored, application based solutions to meet their needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and track a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow ups and successful deal closures.
  • Cross functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of sales, trading or business development experience, preferably in the EPC or energy sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong network and proven experience in supplier sourcing, partner development, and procurement aligned with EPC project requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of chemical products, applications, and industrial solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business strategies while consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
