Role Overview
The Chef de Partie manages an assigned kitchen section and ensures consistent preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes.
The role coordinates with the Sous Chef and culinary team while supporting menu execution, stock control, food safety, waste reduction, and junior colleague development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the assigned kitchen section and complete mise en place for smooth service.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and luxury hotel standards.
- Supervise junior culinary colleagues and contribute to their training and development.
- Monitor food quality, storage, stock levels, ordering, inventory, portion control, and waste.
- Maintain clean work areas and equipment and follow HACCP, food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Support menus, daily specials, culinary initiatives, and efficient kitchen operations.
- Report equipment faults, maintenance needs, and operational issues promptly.
