Role Overview
Prepare high-quality food and support smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain standards for taste, presentation, hygiene, and food safety while working efficiently with the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and company standards.
- Ensure the quality, freshness, taste, and presentation of all food.
- Organize daily food preparation and kitchen activities.
- Assist with menu planning and develop new dishes when required.
- Monitor food ingredients, stock levels, and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure proper food storage, portion control, and stock rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas.
- Minimize food waste and control ingredient usage and costs.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and service.
- Supervise and guide kitchen helpers and junior staff when required.
- Check dishes before serving to ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated skill and passion for preparing high-quality food.
- Ability to maintain standards for taste, presentation, hygiene, and food safety.
- Ability to work efficiently with the kitchen team.
- Ability to supervise and guide kitchen helpers and junior staff when required.
