Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team at a dynamic trading company.

The CA will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, ensuring accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities**

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, trade accounts, and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and other tax filings in compliance with local regulations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Prepare reports on the company’s financial performance for management.
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to financial controls and company policies.
  • Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
  • Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Track inventory-related costs and assist with inventory accounting.
  • Support the Finance team in other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
  • Proven experience at least 5 years as an Chartered ccountant, preferably in a trading or retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or others).
  • Familiarity with local tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial data with integrity and confidentiality.
