- Provide professional and clinical advice to the Chief Medical Officer related to Orthopedics services
- Represent the Department in corporate and management meetings
- Oversee service quality, clinical outcomes, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support compliance with DOH, SEHA, and regulatory requirements
- Lead performance management, peer review, and utilization review processes
- Contribute to workforce planning and participate in recruitment and credentialing activities
- Ensure effective communication with consultants and allied health staff
- Oversee departmental budgeting and financial performance
- Manage patient feedback, complaints, and service recovery initiatives
- Promote patient satisfaction measurement and service improvement
- Maintain active clinical practice within Orthopedics including outpatient, inpatient, and procedural care

- Certified proof of yearly CME

Job Description
- The Chair of Department (Consultant Orthopedics) provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for Orthopedic services across SEHA Clinics.
- The role ensures excellence in musculoskeletal care, surgical quality, and patient outcomes while aligning with DOH, SEHA, and international standards.
- The Chair supports service growth, innovation, workforce planning, and operational efficiency while fostering a culture of safety and evidence based practice.
Responsibilities
- Leads the Department in implementation of departmental and organizational strategic plans and ensures adherence to policies
- Provides professional and clinical advice to the Chief Medical Officer related to Orthopedics services
- Represents the Department in corporate and management meetings

Qualifications
- Qualification from Tier 1 or Tier 2
