Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CCTV and Network Specialist with strong hands-on experience in CCTV installation, configuration, and maintenance.
This role is primarily focused on ensuring the effective deployment, monitoring, and upkeep of surveillance systems across all locations, while also supporting the organization’s network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and commissioning of CCTV systems, including IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and VMS platforms
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems to ensure uninterrupted surveillance operations
- Monitor CCTV system performance, storage, and uptime, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability
- Identify and resolve faults in cameras, cabling, recording devices, and network connectivity
- Design and support network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls) to ensure seamless integration with CCTV systems
- Implement and maintain secure remote access, user permissions, and surveillance data protection protocols
- Conduct regular system health checks, preventive maintenance, and backups
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for CCTV system upgrades, repairs, and procurement
- Maintain detailed documentation of CCTV layouts, camera placements, IP schemes, and system configurations
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices for surveillance systems
Requirements & Qualifications
- **Mandatory:**
- Proven hands-on experience in CCTV installation, configuration, and maintenance across multiple sites
- Strong expertise in IP-based surveillance systems, including camera setup, VMS platforms, and recording solutions
- Solid understanding of structured cabling, including installation and troubleshooting of CCTV-related infrastructure
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently under minimal supervision
- Good understanding of surveillance security standards and data protection practices
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site requirements
Education & Certifications
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) – Preferred
- CCTV/VMS certifications (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview) – Highly Preferred
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+ – Advantageous
