Role overview
Support older adults in their own homes across the Deal, Sandwich, and Dover area.
Visits are at least one hour long to allow personal, unhurried, and meaningful care.
The role is part-time, with flexible shift options as the local client base grows.
Care duties
- Provide personal care and mobility support.
- Prepare meals and hot drinks.
- Complete light household tasks to keep clients' homes safe and comfortable.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and a friendly face.
- Some visits may include personal health-related support after paid training.
Hours and shifts
- Hours will vary while the client base is being built.
- Morning shifts run from 07:00 to 14:00.
- Afternoon shifts run from 14:00 to 21:00.
- Shifts are available Monday to Friday, with alternate weekends required.
What you will need
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full driving licence and access to a car.
- Clear English and good communication skills.
- A warm, patient, and caring nature.
- Previous care experience and a medical background are not required.
Training and benefits
- Full paid training is provided, including support toward the Care Certificate.
- Pay is £14.25–£15.70 per hour plus 35p per mile.
