Role overview
The Care Assistant 3 works within the Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare Nursing department.
The role provides non-clinical care assistance and operational support to nursing personnel in designated units and clinics.
The role may support units in Dhahran, Al Hasa, Ras Tanura, Udhailiyah, and Abqaiq during assigned shifts.
Operational responsibilities
- Distribute and collect patient food trays.
- Transport patients within the assigned unit and throughout the medical facility as a non-clinical porter.
- Make fresh beds and strip soiled linen from occupied beds.
- Trace and record unit material and equipment movements.
- Maintain stock inventory and retrieve unit materials and supplies.
- Check equipment cleanliness and functionality, report inventory, and route broken equipment for repair.
- Provide comfort measures during chaperoned procedures and clean the area afterward.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment and dispose of contaminated items appropriately.
- Assist nurses and other staff within the established job description.
- Deliver forms and urgent specimens when required.
