Overview

  • Responsible for dining hall and tea pantry service operations, ensuring efficient food service, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.

Education, Skills and Experience

  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality / Catering
  • Shall have three (3) years of experience in industrial catering, camps, or institutional dining
  • HACCP Certified
  • Basic computer skills for reporting
  • Course certificate in Basic first aid and CPR

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Ensure smooth and timely service of meals to all customers
  • Monitor service quality and ensure HACCP standard process are followed
  • Handle complaints professionally and ensure quick resolution
  • Maintain a friendly, respectful, and service oriented atmosphere
  • Ensure proper setup of dining hall (tables, counters, service stations)
  • Monitor cleanliness, arrangement, and overall appearance
  • Control crowd flow, especially during peak mealtimes
  • Ensure adequate seating and smooth turnover
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food replenishment
  • Monitor and record food temperature in self contained digital tablet
  • Enforce hygiene standards (HACCP, food safety, personal hygiene)
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, utensils, and equipment
