About the Role

- Schedule and perform calibration of Critical and Non Critical Process Equipment and Laboratory Standards
- Complete all required documentation
- Coordinate repair and calibration services with external vendors and assist with purchase order processing
- Implement new Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) related to internal calibrations
- Participate in calibration system audits
- Provide responsive customer service and be responsible for staff certification training
- Conduct maintenance activities in support of the UAE in accordance with US Army maintenance concepts
- Transfer knowledge to UAE military Calibration Technicians via on the job training
Requirements
- Must have a strong background in digital electronics and RF/Microwave
- Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment
- Must have a deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles
- Must be meticulous and able to follow established procedures
- Must be proficient in using computers and software applications
- U.S. citizenship required (for security clearance)
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret) required prior to start
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5 years relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 6 years, or high school with 8 years

Position Overview
- The Calibration Technician shall schedule and perform calibration of Critical and Non Critical Process Equipment and Laboratory Standards and complete all required documentation.
- This position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This assignment is for short term only.
What You Will Do

- Coordinate repair and or calibration services with external vendors and assist with purchase order processing.

- Participate in calibration system audits.
- Provide responsive customer service and be responsible for staff certification training.
- Conduct all maintenance activities in support of the UAE in accordance with standard US Army maintenance concepts.
- Transfer knowledge to UAE military Calibration Technicians via on the job training.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must have a strong background in digital electronics and RF / Microwave.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment.
- Must have a deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles.
- Must be meticulous and carefully follow established procedures.
- Must be proficient in using computers and various software applications.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 6 years, or high school graduate with 8 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiar with various types of measuring equipment and their operation, maintenance, and calibration requirements.
- A strong foundation in mathematics.
- Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.
- Experience living and working in an overseas location.
- Demonstrated experience with Contractor Logistics Support.
Salary Range
- 86,800 USD 165,200 USD
