About the Role

Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform calibration of Critical and Non Critical Process Equipment and Laboratory Standards
- Complete all required documentation for calibrations
- Coordinate repair and calibration services with external vendors and assist with purchase order processing
- Implement new Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) related to internal calibrations
- Provide recommendations and revisions to SOPs to advance laboratory capability
- Participate in calibration system audits
- Provide responsive customer service and be responsible for staff certification training
- Conduct maintenance activities in support of UAE in accordance with US Army maintenance concepts
- Transfer knowledge to UAE military Calibration Technicians via on the job training
Requirements
- Strong background in digital electronics and RF/Microwave
- Minimum 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment
- Deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Proficient in using computers and software applications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret)
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience

Qualifications You Must Have
- Strong background in digital electronics and RF/Microwave.
- Minimum 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment.
- Deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Proficient in using computers and software applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiar with various types of measuring equipment and their operation, maintenance, and calibration requirements.
- Strong foundation in mathematics.
- Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.
- Experience living and working in an overseas location.
- Demonstrated experience with Contractor Logistics Support.
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree in engineering or applied science with 6 years of experience, or high school graduate with 8 years of experience.
