What You Will Do

  • Schedule and perform calibration of Critical and Non Critical Process Equipment and Laboratory Standards.
  • Complete all required documentation for calibrations.
  • Coordinate repair and calibration services with external vendors and assist with purchase order processing.
  • Implement new Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) related to internal calibrations.
  • Provide recommendations and revisions to SOPs to advance laboratory capability.
  • Participate in calibration system audits.
  • Provide responsive customer service and be responsible for staff certification training.
  • Conduct maintenance activities in support of UAE in accordance with US Army maintenance concepts.
  • Transfer knowledge to UAE military Calibration Technicians via on the job training.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Strong background in digital electronics and RF/Microwave.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment.
  • Deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Proficient in using computers and software applications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Familiar with various types of measuring equipment and their operation, maintenance, and calibration requirements.
  • Strong foundation in mathematics.
  • Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.
  • Experience living and working in an overseas location.
  • Demonstrated experience with Contractor Logistics Support.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree in engineering or applied science with 6 years of experience, or high school graduate with 8 years of experience.

  • Salary range: 86,800 USD 165,200 USD per year.
