Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform calibration of Critical and Non Critical Process Equipment and Laboratory Standards
- Complete all required documentation for calibrations
- Coordinate repair and calibration services with external vendors and assist with purchase order processing
- Implement new Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) related to internal calibrations
- Provide recommendations and revisions to SOPs to advance laboratory capability
- Participate in calibration system audits
- Provide responsive customer service and be responsible for staff certification training
- Conduct maintenance activities in support of the UAE in accordance with US Army maintenance concepts
- Transfer knowledge to UAE military Calibration Technicians via on the job training
Requirements
- Strong background in digital electronics and RF/Microwave
- Minimum 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment
- Deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles
- Proficient in using computers and software applications
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5 years relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 6 years, or high school with 8 years

Position Overview
- The Calibration Technician shall schedule and perform calibration of Critical and Non Critical Process Equipment and Laboratory Standards and complete all required documentation. This position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE and is for short term only.
What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have
- Strong background in digital electronics and RF / Microwave
- Minimum of 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment
- Deep understanding of principles and concepts related to measurement, calibration, and instrumentation
- Meticulous in work, carefully follow established procedures, document work, ensure measurements are accurate
- Proficient in using computers and various software applications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiar with various types of measuring equipment and their operation, maintenance, and calibration requirements
- Strong foundation in mathematics
- Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs
- Experience living and working in an overseas location
- Demonstrated experience with Contractor Logistics Support
Salary Range
- 86,800 USD 165,200 USD per year
