Qualifications
- At least two years of Butler or guest-facing experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or cruise line environment.
- Professional Butler or luxury service certification is advantageous.
- Previous shipboard experience is highly preferred.
- Fluent English communication skills are required, both verbal and written.
- French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin, Arabic, or Japanese language skills are an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a culturally diverse workforce.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional butler services are delivered to guests.
- Fulfil guest orders, requests, and enquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct embarkation inspections of all VIP suites.
- Execute in-suite arrival procedures to brand standards.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop the Butler Team.
- Mentor and prepare the Senior Butler for managerial responsibilities.
- Meet or exceed brand-defined performance targets and KPIs for the Butler Team.
