- Check and ensure correct temperature of appliances and food

- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds

Position Summary
- Preparar diversos cortes de carne según se solicite, incluido preparar correctamente cortes de carne de vaca, cordero y cerdo; rotular el tipo de corte, la fecha y el destino de las carnes.
- Preparar los ingredientes para cocinar, por ejemplo, dividir los alimentos en porciones, picarlos y almacenarlos.
- Pesar, medir y mezclar los ingredientes.
- Preparar y cocinar la comida de acuerdo con las recetas, los estándares de calidad, los estándares de presentación y la lista de control para la preparación de los alimentos.
- Llevar los registros de la cocina para cumplir con el programa de seguridad de los alimentos y los registros de comida para todos los productos alimentarios.
- Controlar la calidad de los alimentos mientras se prepara la comida.
- Establecer y dividir los puestos de trabajo.
- Lavar y desinfectar el área de la cocina, las mesas, los utensilios, los cuchillos y el equipo.
- Verificar que se hayan llevado a cabo las listas de control de limpieza.
- Revisar y asegurarse de que la temperatura de los electrodomésticos y los alimentos sea la correcta mediante la utilización de termostatos y termómetros.

- Educación: Título expedido por una escuela técnica, de oficios o vocacional.
- Experiencia laboral afín: Al menos 2 años de experiencia laboral afín.
- Experiencia como supervisor: No se requiere experiencia como supervisor.
