POSITION SUMMARY
This server assistant role is front-of-house support role designed to build foundational hospitality skills. This role supports the front-of-house team by ensuring efficient food and beverage service, maintaining clean and organized service areas, and assisting servers in delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Food and Beverage Service
- Pre-bus, clean, and reset tables promptly and thoroughly
- Maintain service stations, dining areas, and support areas throughout the shift
- Polish silverware and glassware to ensure presentation standards
- Assist with coffee preparation as directed
- Accurately run food and beverage orders to tables with urgency and professionalism
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Confidently describe dishes to guests when delivering food
- Ensure proper presentation and accuracy before food leaves the kitchen
- Guest Experience
- Interact with guests in a friendly and helpful manner
- Remain attentive to dining room needs to support a welcoming atmosphere
- Stay guest-focused and responsive to service cues
- Engage guests confidently while delivering food, answering questions, and enhancing the dining experience
- Communication and Teamwork
- Support servers and managers with assigned tasks
- Communicate supply needs to avoid service disruptions
- Maintain professional communication with team members and guests
- Work collaboratively in a “One Team, One Dream” environment
- Communicate clearly with BOH and FOH teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Cleanliness, Health, and Safety Standards
- Ensure all work surfaces are kept in neat and tidy condition throughout service
- Maintain clean work areas throughout service
- Comply with all NC Department of Food and Safety regulations
- Monitor food handling practices to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 months full service food service experience
- Customer-oriented and upbeat personality
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including professionalism
*Ability to work a flexible schedule to include AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
- EDUCATION: High School diploma, GE degree or international equivalent preferred, but not required. PHYSICAL ABILITY:
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed
- Continuous use of hands and arms and Continuous bending, reaching, and twisting

COMPENSATION
- $10 per hour plus tips
