Role Overview

  • The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for the Forms Free Teller (FFT) application plays a critical role in enabling seamless, paperless branch operations.
  • The BSA acts as key liaison between Branch Operations, Technology Delivery, Architecture, and downstream applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with Branch Operations, Product Owners, and Customer Experience teams to understand branch workflows and identify digitization opportunities.
  • Document business processes, usability needs, teller pain points, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and FFT specific functional specifications.
  • Analyze impact of changes on teller workflows, downstream systems, audit logging, and customer experience.
  • Work with architecture and development teams to define optimal technical solution.
  • Participate in design discussions, impact assessments, and system integration planning.
  • Support API requirements, data mapping, and downstream/upstream system alignment.
  • Act as primary liaison between business partners and IT teams.
  • Develop test scenarios and support QA in validating the solution.
  • Perform UAT coordination, defect triage, and requirement traceability.
  • Support project planning, sprint activities, backlog grooming, and change management.
  • Assist in readiness activities, documentation, training materials, and post implementation support.

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of branch banking workflows, teller operations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong skills in workflow mapping, process analysis, and user centered design.
  • Experience with API requirements, integration patterns, and multi system interactions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency with Agile practices and tools like Azure DevOps / Jira.
