- Efficiently support applications to meet business objectives by analyzing user requirements and providing technical specifications.
- Design test approach, develop test strategies and plans, and execute them to assess and evolve applications.
- Assist project leader or Manager by gathering business requirements, testing, and monitoring progress.
- Provide technical guidance and review to other team members through technical walkthroughs.
- Keep current on rapidly changing technological trends and maintain understanding of department's business and technology strategies.
Requirements
- Quality Assurance testing / BQA experience
- Experience working in an agile environment / methodology / deployment (e.g., GIT, DevOps pipeline, JIRA, Confluence)
- Development techniques: debugging, testing, coding, documentation, and use of productivity tools
- Experience with Security and environment control systems (Endevor, ACF2)
- Database Management experience (e.g., IMS, DB2, VSAM, Informix)
- AIX / UNIX Command line expertise and shell script programming
- Some experience in mainframe development using Cobol, JCL, IMS DB, DB2, VSAM, CA7, SAS, Netron
- Experience working in banking industry is an asset

The Team & Role
- The Application Support team provides production support and maintains applications within Global Payments Technology servicing commercial and corporate clients.
- We are seeking a Business/Quality Analyst to contribute technically and analytically to meet partner needs and resolve customer issues.
- You will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers and Operational Support teams to provide Incident resolution and application development deliverables.
