Job Summary
The employer is seeking a Business Development Supervisor with a piling engineering background.
The role combines technical knowledge, sales, and relationship management to increase machinery rental revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach piling contractors, foundation specialists, and construction companies.
- Generate rental enquiries through prospecting, site visits, networking, and client meetings.
- Coordinate suitable machinery solutions with the operations team.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate within approved terms, and secure rental agreements.
- Build client relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Coordinate machinery availability, delivery, and collection.
- Achieve rental revenue and new-client acquisition targets.
- Maintain records of leads, quotations, client visits, and confirmed rentals.
- Monitor projects, market demand, and competitor activity.
- Support Accounts with customer payment follow-up.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience as a Piling Engineer with knowledge of piling machinery, equipment, and site operations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
