The Role
Proofpoint is seeking a Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities for the Middle East field sales team.
The role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Development.
The position works with regional sales and marketing teams to generate sales-accepted leads through inbound and outbound activities.
The role develops account intelligence and connects sales teams with influencers and decision-makers across prospect accounts and industry verticals.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales-accepted leads and respond to product enquiries.
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads and convert initial interest into sales-accepted leads.
- Gather intelligence on competition, projects, and purchase intent for assigned accounts.
