Business Development Representative, Manufactured Housing

Prospect into Manufactured Housing operators and ownership groups through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels

Identify and engage key decision-makers, including C-suite and senior executives

Navigate gatekeepers thoughtfully and professionally to reach the right stakeholders

Lead with curiosity and empathy to understand how prospects operate today before positioning a solution

Conduct early qualification and uncover enough business context to determine whether an opportunity warrants a deeper sales conversation

Partner closely with Account Executives to create high-quality qualified opportunities and build pipeline

Research target accounts and personalize outreach based on the organization and individual you're contacting

Test different messaging, talk tracks, and approaches and provide feedback on what you're hearing from the market

Maintain accurate prospecting activity and opportunity context within our sales systems

Contribute to the development of our Manufactured Housing BDR playbook as the team learns and scales

You have a strong desire to build a career in sales and are motivated by measurable goals and performance-based compensation

You're genuinely curious and ask thoughtful questions instead of immediately jumping into a pitch

You're a strong listener who can pick up on what matters to a prospect and adjust the conversation accordingly

You're comfortable communicating with senior executives and can be confident without being overly aggressive

You understand that empathy and persistence can coexist and you're willing to keep going without treating prospects like numbers

You're comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and hearing “no”

You communicate clearly and naturally over the phone, email, and LinkedIn

You're resourceful and willing to find creative ways to reach difficult-to-access decision-makers

You're highly coachable and can quickly incorporate feedback into your approach

You're comfortable operating in ambiguity and excited about helping build a sales motion that will continue to evolve

You're collaborative and willing to share what you're learning with the broader team

You're competitive and performance-driven while still being a great teammate

You're always looking for ways to improve your own effectiveness and find new paths to success

1+ year of sales, business development, customer-facing, or similarly high-accountability experience preferred, but not required

Demonstrated track record of success in a professional, academic, athletic, or other performance-driven environment

Experience with outbound prospecting and/or executive-level buyers is a plus

Commercial real estate or Manufactured Housing experience is a plus, but not required

P&C insurance interest and/or experience is a plus
