Role overview
Generate new business opportunities through proactive client engagement, lead qualification, and meeting scheduling.
Support the Business Development Management team by moving prospects from initial outreach into qualified meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to new leads by phone, email, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Introduce service offerings to prospective clients and assess their suitability.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads using predefined criteria.
- Book qualified meetings into Business Development Managers' calendars.
- Coordinate introductions and ensure a smooth transition to the Business Development Manager team.
- Track competitor activity and share insights with sales leadership.
- Identify companies hiring contractors or undergoing expansion that match specialty services.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 2 years of experience in business development, lead generation, inside sales, or a comparable role.
- Strong experience in people management in current or previous roles.
- A strong track record of proactive outreach and relationship-building.
- Excellent phone and email communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with strong time-management abilities.
