- Find and develop qualified leads, convert them into prospects and customers
- Achieve at least 25 sales calls per week
- Engage prospects and customers by selling the company's products and services
- Maintain periodic courtesy calls to customers and serve as point of contact
- Achieve annual growth targets (revenue, profit, volume) as agreed with management
- Close business independently
- Understand competitive landscape and internal cost structure to offer profitable pricing
- Enter outcomes of client prospecting from sales visits into the system
- Direct and assist Customer Service/Sales Support teams for ongoing rate quotations
- Establish SOPs for customer service and operations teams to handle new accounts
- Evaluate customer's need for credit and complete credit application documentation if needed
- Follow up on leads generated by overseas and domestic offices, providing regular updates till closure
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English fluently
- Knowledge of Arabic and Hindi is an advantage
- Experience in sales and business development
- Ability to achieve annual growth targets (revenue, profit, volume)
- Capable of closing business independently
- Understanding of competitive landscape and cost structure

Key Responsibilities
- Find and develop qualified leads, and thereafter convert them into prospects and customers. The manager should aim to achieve at least 25 sales calls per week. Continuously ensure that the sales pipeline is full.
- Engage prospects and customers by selling the company’s products and services, thus furthering relationships. The sales manager should be focused on bringing on new clients (not including lost clients).
- Maintain a steady line of communication but making periodic courtesy calls to customers and serve as a point of contact for prospects and customers.
- Achieve the annual growth targets (revenue, profit, volume) as agreed with management.
- Must be capable of closing business independently.
- Understand competitive landscape and internal cost structure to offer profitable pricing.
- Enter outcomes of client prospecting exercise from sales visits on the system.
- Direct and assist Customer Service/ Sales Support teams for on going rate quotations.
- Establish SOPs for customer service and operations teams to handle new accounts.
- Evaluate customer’s need for credit and complete credit application documentation (if needed).
- Follow up on leads generated by overseas and domestic offices. Provide regular updates till closure.
- Ensure collection of pending invoices for accounts department.
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English fluently. Knowledge of Arabic and Hindi is an advantage.
