2. Role Overview
We are looking for a
Business Development Manager – Medical Equipment, UAE
to support SolutionMall’s medical equipment business development in the United Arab Emirates.
This is a flexible cooperation-based business development role suitable for professionals with local customer resources, distributor relationships, channel experience, or business development experience in medical equipment, healthcare products, hospital equipment, laboratory equipment, diagnostic devices, rehabilitation devices, medical consumables, or healthcare project procurement.
The role focuses on developing customer opportunities, building distributor and channel relationships, identifying real procurement needs, supporting RFQ development, coordinating quotations, and helping SolutionMall promote medical equipment solutions in the UAE market.
This is not a simple retail sales role.
It is a B2B business development role focused on hospitals, clinics, laboratories, rehabilitation centers, healthcare facilities, distributors, institutional procurement, and project-based medical equipment opportunities.
The ideal candidate should be able to support:
Customer development
Distributor and channel development
Project opportunity follow-up
RFQ and quotation coordination
Medical equipment solution promotion
Local market feedback
Commercial coordination
Project advancement support
Long-term partner cooperation development
Customer And Channel Development
Develop customer and channel opportunities in the UAE, including:
Clinics
Medical centers
Diagnostic centers
Laboratories
Rehabilitation centers
Physiotherapy centers
Healthcare facilities
Medical equipment distributors
Healthcare project contractors
Government, private, and institutional procurement contacts
Build and maintain practical relationships with customers, distributors, dealers, healthcare institutions, procurement teams, project stakeholders, and local channel partners.
Support SolutionMall in expanding access to medical equipment, healthcare testing equipment, monitoring devices, rehabilitation equipment, and project-based procurement opportunities in the UAE.
Medical Equipment Solution Promotion
Promote SolutionMall’s medical and healthcare product resources, including:
Medical testing and diagnostic equipment
Patient monitoring devices
Basic hospital and clinic equipment
Laboratory and clinical testing equipment
Rehabilitation and physiotherapy devices
Mobility support equipment
Recovery and therapy support devices
Medical consumables and disposable supplies
Hospital and clinic supporting equipment
Healthcare facility equipment
Medical information systems
Health management and remote healthcare solutions
Help customers understand how different medical equipment categories can be selected based on real application scenarios, healthcare facility needs, patient service requirements, procurement budgets, maintenance requirements, local compliance expectations, and long-term use conditions.
Support early-stage requirement clarification and solution direction matching.
Rfq And Quotation Follow-Up
Follow up with customers on project background, equipment needs, usage scenarios, procurement direction, budget expectations, technical requirements, compliance requirements, and delivery timelines.
Help convert early customer interest into active RFQs and practical quotation discussions.
Coordinate with SolutionMall teams to keep qualified medical equipment opportunities moving forward.
Assist in product selection, quotation communication, project verification, solution confirmation, and order-related follow-up where needed.
Commercial And Market Coordination
Support quotation progress, customer feedback collection, and next-step coordination.
Help identify which leads are active, qualified, and suitable for deeper engagement.
Coordinate communication between customers, SolutionMall teams, suppliers, distributors, and project contacts.
Share local market feedback, including demand trends, project opportunities, pricing sensitivity, channel conditions, competitor activity, common procurement habits, compliance expectations, and after-sales requirements.
Help SolutionMall strengthen its market understanding and cooperation strategy in the UAE healthcare equipment sector.
Required
3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Medical equipment sales
Healthcare equipment distribution
Hospital equipment
Clinic equipment
Laboratory or diagnostic equipment
Patient monitoring equipment
Rehabilitation or physiotherapy equipment
Medical consumables
B2B healthcare product sales
Channel development or distributor cooperation
Business development in medical or healthcare equipment
Project-based healthcare procurement or quotation follow-up
Familiar with medical equipment or healthcare products and able to understand customer needs, product selection, RFQ follow-up, quotation coordination, and distributor communication.
Good communication skills and ability to develop customers, distributors, healthcare institutions, contractors, or project contacts in the UAE.
Working proficiency in English.
Preferred
Existing customer or channel resources in the UAE.
Experience with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, rehabilitation centers, laboratories, healthcare institutions, medical equipment distributors, or healthcare procurement teams.
Experience in RFQ follow-up, quotation coordination, channel development, distributor cooperation, sales management, or project opportunity development.
Familiarity with the UAE medical and healthcare procurement ecosystem.
Experience in medical testing equipment, patient monitoring, laboratory equipment, rehabilitation devices, medical consumables, or healthcare facility projects is a strong advantage.
Arabic communication ability is preferred.
Understanding of local compliance, registration, import, or distribution requirements for medical equipment will be considered an advantage.
